Jess Snedeker

Jess Snedeker is Professor at ETH Zurich. He heads the Laboratory for Orthopedic Biomechanics, holding joint chairs in the University of Zurich (Department of Orthopedics) and ETH Zurich (Department of Health Sciences and Technology). His laboratory focuses on three primary research areas: mechanical/biological based understanding of tendon disease and healing, micro-mechanical cell-biomaterial interactions and their implications for therapeutic success, and clinical biomechanics for improving existing orthopedic implant design and for the development of novel implants.
